You were very clear about how the process works, and you explained how you were different than other recruiters. I felt very taken care of and confident you would find me a great position. And I ended up with a position exactly where I wanted, and with more pay than I expected. Your website was very helpful in answering many of my questions. Also, you responded to my emails very quickly, you offered a personal touch other recruiters don’t have.

I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about Adventure Teaching’s services. I am so grateful for all the help AT provided. The guys were always so quick to get back to me and willing to answer any questions I had- no matter how small. They went above and beyond what I ever could have expected from a recruiter. Anyone looking into teaching in Korea shouldn’t think twice about working through Adventure Teaching; in fact, they’d be crazy not to.  Also, the new cell service AT provides is AMAZING! It was SO incredibly helpful to have that taken care of by them and to have a phone ready and waiting for me in Korea when I got here. I also very much appreciated the welcome packet I received from Adventure Teaching during my first week- so helpful.

I appreciated help with the paperwork and E-2 process.  I appreciated quick replies and genuine concern that I would find a school that was a good match for me.  I appreciated your Add-ons and the helpful tips on your website.  I have already recommended you to many friends.  Why?  Because you were incredibly helpful and sincere.  You continuously put my mind at ease and I feel completely spoiled now that I’m here and have heard other teacher’s stories.  You made sure this was the smoothest possible transition and I can’t think of a reason not to recommend you.  THANK YOU!  You were amazing!

I really appreciated the speed in responses.  If I had a question about anything I got a response in less than a day, answering my question(s) accurately and personally.  The personal touch you guys provided really made it a lot more comfortable finding and settling into a job.  Adventure Teaching combines a professional placement service with personal attention to each applicant.

You always seem to find the best fit for my teaching style and personality.  You even set me up with a t-money card and subway map when I got here which, by the way, has helped so much! Thanks! You check into things for me in regards to the process and make my life a million times easier. You answer all my annoying questions more than once…

The quick response was great.  I never had to wait to get my questions answered.  I also appreciated that I was told each step of the process and what I needed to do.  Having a cell phone and converter waiting for me was such a help.  I didn’t go a day without communication.  The subway card was an awesome bonus! Thanks for everything.  I don’t think I would’ve made it to South Korea without you.

The information and assistance you are able to provide to new teachers is invaluable. I was not looking forward to picking my way through hundreds of job ads for schools that I knew nothing about. Having a trustworthy, knowledgeable contact in Korea helped me to feel much more confident about moving halfway around the world.

You were prompt, and Reuben worked very efficiently to find me a job in Korea as soon as was possible.  Adventure Teaching was also very prompt in answering my questions.  I can’t seriously think of anything!  No criticisms.

I loved working with you all.  You listened, and everything happened very fast.  I also really liked the fact that you sent me a welcome packet with maps, and a t-money card. I think that you do a great job!  Short of flying to my hometown and walking me through things, I don’t think you could have prepared me any better than you did.  I would definitely recommend you to others thinking about coming over.  You are all very caring and interested in finding out how I am doing which is wonderful.

Overall I couldn’t think of anything for you to improve.  When I told other teachers about the service and options made available though your agency they were extremely surprised.  The immediate response to questions and inquiries was great. Having access to a cell phone my first day helped too.

I appreciated how quickly you got back to me and answered my (numerous!) questions. I also liked how you tried to match me up to the best job for me even when I was picky, and helped me to find one that met my preferences. It was great getting a follow-up email and letter/T-money card when I arrived. I think the Adventure Teaching staff were extremely helpful and made me feel comfortable with a process that could have been potentially stressful. Instead it was very smooth and I felt well-taken care of.

I appreciated, having someone available to ask random questions and receive quick replies,
the available resources as far as what to expect, visa process, etc, knowing that the contract I was signing was decent and for a reputable company, also it was just nice knowing that someone was walking through the process with me so that I didn’t feel like I was jumping into something solo. You were extremely helpful throughout the process and I know that you find great jobs for people.  Since you have been there and experienced much, you are a great resource.

The fact that you were so prompt and responsive to the naturally high number of questions and concerns that I had was tremendously appreciated. Such a major transition in my life was made seamlessly due to the support provided by Adventure Teaching. Scot and Reuben always responded, literally, within hours of my email to them. Their responses clearly went beyond the requirements of their business and I felt a personal level of concern from them both. For this reason specifically I feel that any person aspiring to ‘take the leap’ and experience teaching in Korea along with all that Asia has to offer would be very pleased with choosing to use the Adventure Teaching service.

From the very first email, AT was incredibly informative and helpful, not leaving one question unanswered.  AT completely guided us through the process of becoming ESL teachers in Korea, from learning about what the teaching and living would be about, down to the final details the day before we departed for Korea.  One of the best things about AT’s services is their prompt replies to any inquires.  Most emails were answered in less than a day.

I just wanted to write and let you know that so far Korea has been an amazing experience.  I enjoy teaching and I am truly thankful that you and AT have been so helpful throughout the application process and everything else.  So far I love everything about Korea, the people, the food and the culture.  It has been truly amazing and I am starting to contemplate a second year here. I just wanted to thank you for your help and everything you have done.

Adventure Teaching has done more than hold my hand through all these challenges: they have treated me like family every step of the way. Everyone needs some hand-holding as they set up a new household and a new way of life for a year or more in a distant country. You should know that, from my experience, Adventure Teaching never goes away. As weeks have lead to months, what I need from Scot and Reuben grows less, but I still seek them out for answers, and they are still there. In fact, even when I haven't emailed or called them, from time to time there comes an email - 'how are you doing, Jim? Need anything?' In the spirit of helpfulness that Reuben and Scot personify, I'd be happy to answer questions that you may have that I can. Meanwhile, know that all roads to a positive experience lead through Adventure Teaching, and that you could not have found two better people to prepare the way for you.

It made me feel good knowing you had been foreign teachers already, so you knew what to look for and what to avoid. You were always so willing to answer any and all questions, and were always so prompt in doing so. Very down to earth and genuine about trying to find the best possible scenario for me in Korea! Thank you!

The service you provided was essential for my employment in Korea. I had no idea where to start or how to go about anything in terms of finding a job. Your company was excellent at responding to my questions and giving me a variety of options for employment. I would definitely recommend you to other friends interested in coming to Korea. From your website to quick email responses I found that your company was great at making the transition to life in Korea. Having heard other stories about peoples experiences in Korea I was very happy to have gone through your company.
