Adventure Teaching has done more than hold my hand through all these challenges: they have treated me like family every step of the way. Everyone needs some hand-holding as they set up a new household and a new way of life for a year or more in a distant country. You should know that, from my experience, Adventure Teaching never goes away. As weeks have lead to months, what I need from Scot and Reuben grows less, but I still seek them out for answers, and they are still there. In fact, even when I haven't emailed or called them, from time to time there comes an email - 'how are you doing, Jim? Need anything?' In the spirit of helpfulness that Reuben and Scot personify, I'd be happy to answer questions that you may have that I can. Meanwhile, know that all roads to a positive experience lead through Adventure Teaching, and that you could not have found two better people to prepare the way for you.

This is my third year in South Korea. It's been an adventure to say the least. I've found jobs on my own and have used the services of other recruiters. And I've had a couple of pretty bad experiences. Adventure Teaching has been excellent! They really care about you, and want you to have a good experience in Asia. I've just begun my new job, and so far, so good. Scot took care of everything! It's been my easiest process so far. I recommend using Adventure Teaching!

Hi, my name is Shane Johnson and I just arrived in South Korea in June, 2007. I was at a crossroad on what to do in life and then my friend told me about teaching ESL. She told me about Adventure Teaching. They were a huge help and a benefit to coming. They walked me through everything - even calling when I had specific questions about things. They also helped me to get my resume out to the schools in S. Korea and helped me find a great school that fits my needs. The school has been great and since being here, the guys at ATK have been there helping, once again, every step of the way. If you are adventurous and want to do something new and exciting with your life, I'd totally recommend Adventure Teaching as a reputable company. Even though I emailed new questions daily, Reuben and Scot were very patient with me and personally responded to each email. They screen their applicants, and they screen the schools. English schools are a dime a dozen here, so it's important to research the school and speak with the prior teachers. Scot and Reuben provide a service to potential students and personally invest their time to ensure that each school is reputable and a good match.
