HOUSING
Underline

It is the standard throughout Korea to be provided with an apartment as part of a one year contract. You will be given a studio (one room) or one bedroom apartment. The rent is paid for by your supporting school. You are required to pay for utilities. These include water, electricity, phone, internet and maintenance fees. Your apartment will come furnished with some basic things such as a bed, fridge, stove, and tv. Depending on your school, your provisions may extend even further to things like a desk, shelf, microwave, rice cooker, dishes and cutlery. In most cases you will be replacing a native English teacher from your school who has completed their contract and who has left behind other furnishings.
