Adventure Teaching hopes to provide you with excellent teachers by conducting the following steps:
Locating and contacting potential teachers
Carefully examining each teacher. Each potential teacher submits an online application to us describing themselves and their qualifications. We carefully examine each teacher’s application and resume. We use them as a tool to learn more about the teacher and their personality. We also examine their use of English. If they misspell words and have major grammar mistakes we remove them from our teacher database. If there is any information discovered in the resume or application that makes a teacher unsuitable, or likely to be a liability to any employer, we remove them from our database.
If there are no problems in the teacher’s application or resume Adventure Teaching will conduct a phone interview. The phone interview is primarily used for learning about the applicant’s personality. We believe that a teacher’s personality helps us determine if he/she will fit into the profile of a teacher in Korea. The applicant’s interests and expectations for their time in Korea are also questioned. Applicants need to be flexible and patient with the Korean culture, as well as courteous and respectful. If we discover anything that makes, or is likely to make, a teacher unsuitable for a position, we remove them from our teacher database.
*If no problems arise in the interview, Adventure Teaching will provide the teacher with information about your school.
Adventure Teachings checks previous employment references from each applicant to help ensure excellent performance.
If both you and the teacher are interested we arrange a telephone interview.
Adventure Teaching provides teachers with information about living and working in Korea. We give them orientation to Korean culture and teaching ESL.
Adventure Teaching makes sure that the teacher knows the visa process. We give them a step-by-step guide of what to do.
Adventure Teaching guarantees teachers for 90 days. If the teacher is deemed unsuitable for the position or breaches contract, we will provide a new teacher free of charge, as long as the employer has upheld their portion of the contract.
Adventure Teaching will speak with each school individually about the recruiting fee.
